 Maryann Johnson, controller of Teenware, Inc., a closely-held, private corporation, was standing in a long checkout line at her local Wal-mart when she received an urgent call on her cell phone from Michael Cole, CEO of Teenware. Cole was attending a weekend retreat with the members of the company’s board of directors, and the directors had some questions about the financial statements that Cole needed answers to right away. In an effort to accommodate Cole’s needs without losing her place in line, Johnson attempted to answer his questions as best she could. This was a violation of which standard in the IMA’s Statement of Ethical Professional Practice? a) Competence.  b) Confidentiality.  c) Integrity.  d) Credibility.
